Children
At Second Presbyterian Church, our teachers and staff care for and nurture our littlest ones with love and respect because they are valued members of the community. We do our best to create an atmosphere where children know they are loved as a unique child of God and we strive to share that message with them through discussions, service events, stories, games, crafts, and other activities. Children have a place here. Come and share the fun and nurturing experience of God’s transforming love with us!

for Children's Ministry
Learn: We will awaken and build up the littlest ones in faith by sharing Bible stories and activities in age-appropriate ways, praying together, listening to each other, and asking questions.
Love: We will help children understand that God loves each of us as His children and we love others by sharing God's love in our words and actions.
Laugh: We will play together in a safe community of faithful friends.
Children Age 3-5th Grade
9:00 a.m. Sundays - Classes follow the Witness curriculum, a story based approach to experiencing the Bible through a wide variety of media. Third floor, signs indicate various room locations.
Godly Play is offered for those ages 4-7 during the 10:15 a.m. Worship Service.

Faith Quest: A Walk through Holy Week
Would you like to wear a first century costume, travel to Jerusalem, and act out scenes from the last week of Jesus’ life? Take photos and make a scrap book of your time in Jerusalem? Maybe you would like to eat popcorn with your friends and watch a movie about Holy Week?
If you are in grade Pre-K through 5th, you can do these things and much more during Faith Quest: A Walk through Holy Week. Beginning Sunday, February 26, through Sunday, March 25, Second is offering a special Easter rotational Sunday school experience during the 9:00 a.m. Sunday School hour.
Each week, children will experience one of five different learning stations designed to teach the events of Holy Week through drama, photography, art, games, journal writing and film.
