Book Discussion with David Jeter

The book, The Future of Faith, by Harvey Cox, Professor of Divinity emeritus @ Harvard was published to coincide w/ Prof. Cox' retirement in 2009.  In The Future of Faith, Professor Cox makes the observation that there is an essential change taking place among Christians in what it means to be "religious" today.  His premise is that many Christians have or are moving away from an Age of Belief, a time which focused on orthodoxy and "correct doctrine" under the control of the institutional church and church hierarchy, and into an Age of the Spirit, where the life example of Jesus Christ and "faith" in that life example, has and is becoming more important in the living of many more Christians' lives. Come and discuss Professor Cox' observations and arguments in a two part book study.
